Weekly Photo Challenge: Pattern

In Cambodia…

1. Different interesting patterns carved into stones at Bayon.


2. While it simply looks like random stones stack together, there’s a pattern in arranging these stones so that they can fit properly to prevent the entire wall from collapsing.


3. When I look at this structure, I felt that it comprise of different sections joining together to form a single entity.


In Taiwan…

Here, some thought goes into the architectural construction of these structures 🙂



In Singapore…

With the flower buds growing alongside the bloom-ed flowers, it demonstrates (at least part of) the never-ending cycle of life. From a seed, to a bud and finally flowering before dying.
