Singapore Botanic Gardens

Plant-lovers should definitely drop by the Singapore Botanic Gardens when in the little Red Dot. From orchids to ginger/cactus/bonsai etc., there are so many different varieties of plants that will most likely sent your head spinning at the end of the day. On a good day, you can also have a picnic under the many shady trees planted in the garden. A word of advice, apply some mosquito repellant to ward off those pesky blood-suckers. πŸ™‚

Rare plants:

Β This is the Tailpot Palm I visited a few months back. It’s a plant that flowers only once, for the first and last time, when it reaches 80! I’ll probably never see it flower again in this lifetime, so here’s a picture for memory πŸ˜€

Have a flower-y day ahead~^^
